Ikon’s technical skills and pure creativity have made him one of the most sought after traveling DJs of this or any generation.
He is highly recognized within the music and nightclub industry having received several industry awards including the Remix Club DJ of the Year, Las Vegas Top 30 Under 30, and is the two time recipient of the Bar and Nightclub DJ of the Year.
In 1999 Brian Epling (DJ Truelove) attended his first “Full Moon” underground camping party near Yosemite National Park. Over the course of the weekend, 500 people gathered as one to celebrate life, love, and music. Moved in ways only explained by being there, Brian had never felt anything like it before, true love. In the center of all this was one person, a maestro…a DJ. After that weekend Brian knew he had to be a DJ and share that same feeling with the rest of the world through music.
Breaking into the San Francisco (Bay Area) party scene, he started DJ’ing for multiple promoters which eventually lead to running his own weekly and monthly parties. He has played next to such names as Tommy Lee & DJ Aero, Kaskade, E-Rock, Scotty Boy, DJ Scene and DJ Homicide just to name a few.
Now living in Las Vegas, he has played some of the best venues Sin City has to offer. Being able to read crowds and anticipate what to play next is what sets him apart from many other DJ’s. There is no end in sight for DJ Truelove as he continues to win over dance floors one song at a time.
